Undergraduate liberal arts at Maine College of Art
Through our liberal arts electives, you will explore the richness of your own cultural heritage while also being introduced to the cultures of the world. Courses in literature, history, philosophy, Asian studies and the sciences are offered, from which you will choose those of most interest and relevance to your own path. You will learn to write and evaluate texts, analyze problems and question cultural assumptions. The skills that you develop in self-expression and critical thinking will assist you in communicating about your own work and in evaluating the work of others.
