In fact, for more than 62 percent of our students receive some form of financial aid.

This section describes the types of financial assistance available at Lynn. A combination of these awards may be used to meet your needs.
Scholarships and Grants

Scholarships and grants are awards that do not have to be repaid. A scholarship is based upon a specific criterion such as academics, while a grant is based upon a student’s financial need.

Loans

Loans are a form of financial aid that must be repaid, with interest. For many students, loans will make up at least a portion of their financial aid packages, although we advise you to explore all sources of scholarships and grants prior to making use of loans.

Student Employment

These awards are based on need, as determined by the FAFSA. While they may appear in your award letter as an award, the award amount represents the maximum amount you may earn through working. This amount will be paid directly to you and will not be applied to your student account.

AIU Buckhead goes to great lengths to ensure that every student has a financial aid package to suit their needs. Each student is provided with a dedicated Financial Aid Advisor who will personally walk them through every step of the financial aid process.

American InterContinental University participates in a variety of financial aid programs. Eligibility for Federal financial aid is based on a number of factors. Regardless of your current income level or financial need, you may still qualify for student financial aid programs that can help you finance your education.

The first step in applying for financial aid is to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Once you have been accepted for admission to the University and completed the FAFSA, a Financial Aid Advisor will work with you to determine the financial aid options that you are eligible for. What is Financial Aid

Financial Aid is federal, state, and private funding used to assist students in funding their education. Grants and scholarships are considered “Gift Aid” which does not need to be paid back. On the other hand, loans, referred to as “Self Help” have to be paid back. Loans come with numerous repayment options and attractive interest rates. The University also offers student employment which includes federal work study positions, either on- or off- campus.

University grants or scholarships are based on established criteria as published in the University’s catalog and are awarded after verification that the conditions of eligibility have been met.

Although the primary responsibility for financing a college education lies with you as a student and your family, the Office of Financial Aid is committed to helping make your Ringling College education as affordable as possible. We are here to help you navigate through the many financial aid options available if you qualify.

You should know that more than 70% of our students receive some form of financial aid each year.

Financial aid is available in the form of grants, scholarships, loans, and student employment. You can be confident in knowing the Office of Financial Aid will treat you with personal service taking into consideration your individual needs. Each student who applies for financial aid receives a financial aid “package,” incorporating one or more forms of assistance.

Most financial aid at Ringling College is awarded to you based on demonstrated financial need, which is the difference between the cost of attending Ringling College [tuition, fees, supplies, etc.], and what you and your family are able to contribute. Demonstrated financial need for federal funding is determined by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid [FAFSA] with the U.S. Department of Education.

LaGrange offers a broad range of financial aid programs to assist families in realizing their dreams of attending college, including the HOPE Scholarship and the HOPEMatch, a grant awarded to enrolling freshmen who graduate from high school as a HOPE Scholar or from an out-of-state high school with a 3.0 or better grade point average. Through HOPEMatch, LaGrange College will match your $3,000 private college HOPE Scholarship up to a maximum of $3,000 per year. Students awarded academic scholarships may receive the HOPEMatch or their academic award, whichever is greater.

Federal financial aid and institutional funds are available to students who qualify, and Georgia residents who enroll as full-time students receive the Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant in the amount of $1,200 per year.

Although many other programs are awarded based on financial need, there are non-need-based grants, scholarships, loans and student employment available.
