Program Description

This intensive 4 semester program is intended for applicants with a strong interest in photography and image creation. Successful applicants will have a basic knowledge of photography and must demonstrate an understanding of imaging fundamentals. They will build a strong portfolio of photographic and illustrated images for a wide range of practical business applications. Along with artistic and technical skills, students will learn business and entrepreneurial skills. Students will work primarily in the digital realm of photography and imaging. Students will be required to purchase a minumum of photography/imaging equipment.

Program Description

The Photography program ensures that students produce technically and aesthetically sound work. Under the guidance of a faculty of working professionals in the field of photography, students fine tune their style, both in terms of content and approach. Before choosing a concentration, students develop the technical, critical and practical skills that are required in the challenging and diverse photography profession. Coupling advanced technical skills alongside design and concept knowledge, students develop a cohesive portfolio of personal signature images that demonstrate strength in image making.

Program Description

This program is designed to give students the skills to develop game art using computer based software. Techniques such as modeling, animation, texturing and game engine integration will be covered using the latest high-end computer hardware and software.

The emphasis of the program is on learning the tools to develop amazing game art and to incorporate that art into real-time environments using 3D Studio Max and other game development tools.

Program Description

This program is designed to introduce students to the concepts of 3D computer-based modeling and animation utilizing the latest in high-end computer workstations. The emphasis of the program is on learning the tools to problem solve, and to create finished portfolio projects using Maya animation software.
