Aim

(1)The aim of the Institute is to foster professional people of animation and multimedia design in relevant industry in Taiwan for following the trend of development of international design industry.

(2)To foster professional people who have knowledge and competence of directing and researching of creative animation design.

(3)The directions of research are in creation of animation design、genre、connotation of art、planning and ideas.
Introduction of the Institute

(1) The aim of the establishment of this institute is to fit the need of market the design industry.
(2) To breed visual design professionals who are also with the aesthetic accomplishments in animation.
(3) The main content of the planning of the course is related to digital design, such as internet animation, game animation, music animation, mobile phone animation and so on.
Ideas of Education

The direction of the institute is to educate young professional people in animation; to foster and train creative people in multimedia animation with high standard. The graduate institute also makes efforts in combining arts and technology and collaborates with multimedia and internet companies intensively, in order to use the experiences of industry and market information to create a creative environment and foster the interaction of traditional cartoon、computer animation and academia in Taiwan.

The aim of education of this institute is to foster students’ diverse concepts of aesthetics, to promote the connections of arts industry and relevant professional knowledge、to strengthen management and development of creative ideas. The institute also teach students with technical ability to fit the need of industry and encourage students to attend design competition and academic events in Taiwan and overseas, for the students to become the leader of the era of multimedia in twenty-first century.

AS in Digital Photography at Art Institute of Southern California

Photography is a major medium of communication. It shapes our perception of the world and impacts our lives in many ways. The Digital Photography Associate of Science program has been created for those with creativity, imagination, an eye for color, attention to detail, and a degree of selective critical judgment. Graduates of this program will work with diverse subject matter and many types of people. They must be able to work as a member of a creative team, have excellent communication skills, and have good business skills. Additionally, they must be able to negotiate, sell, coordinate work with others, operate equipment, use tools, follow directions, plan, make decisions and create spatial visualization.

This program prepares students to seek entry-level positions such as photographer, digital studio photographer, in-house digital photographer, Photoshop color operator, production photographer, online photo image editor, digital catalog photographer, and photo editor. Graduates will demonstrate the creative and technical skills and abilities employers in the digital photography field require, including: technical skills, professional knowledge, critical thinking, concept development, business sense, marketing, entrepreneurship and creativity.

Photojournalism Undergraduate at Staffordshire University

This exciting, three-year degree course is specifically designed to equip you with the key photographic skills and depth of knowledge required for a career in photojournalism. What you do

The Photojournalism award is designed to introduce you to the main issues and concerns relating to Photojournalistic practice today. Technical skills development in Photoshop and the advanced use of professional digital cameras is combined with an academic understanding of the historical debates and critical theories of photojournalistic practice. You will also learn about the professional practice of the photojournalist by developing your knowledge of the ethical positions and legislative procedures that inform the field.

The award offers you the chance to experience the industry first-hand through work placements and ‘live briefs’ in this exciting industry. The final year of your award offers you the opportunity to propose and direct your own photojournalistic project, which will form the basis of your final Degree Show and portfolio. In addition to visual work you will research a project around your chosen area of study. You also have the opportunity to undertake ‘careers and enterprise’ modules, which equip you with key skills required to succeed within a competitive job-market. Further professional development also includes areas such as; developing your own website or producing video or audio news.
