Thank you for your interest in Regent University School of Undergraduate Studies. Our academic program is unique in that we offer five, eight-week sessions per academic year. This translates to two, eight-week sessions per semester, and one summer session. You may enroll in one or two eight-week sessions per semester depending on your schedule — it’s up to you. As you review the academic calendar to find your desired start date, note that each eight-week session is identified by a letter, “A” through “E”.

For application details, please select the category below that represents your student classification. Should you find an overlap of classification, simply choose the category that fits you best. The admissions process is the same both for on-campus and online students.
Note: If you are interested in applying for financial aid or the university’s campus housing, you must work directly with those departments and complete the appropriate applications. Guaranteed priority housing for freshmen requires an admission application submitted by April 15 and upon acceptance, a housing application is due May 1.

Minor in Animation at Regent International University India

A minor is a prescribed group of related courses (15 credits) taken outside of one’s academic major. Minors present optional study opportunities to students who wish to supplement their major field of study with coursework in another academic area. Students choosing to complete a minor will be required to complete 15 credits of specified courses in the subject area in which the minor is selected. The minor must be listed on the student’s Program Worksheet form, with the required courses documented. With Regent’s Bachelor of Arts in Animation program, you will learn the art of animation using the most technologically advanced communication facilities on the East Coast. Using cutting-edge computer and design studios and the most advanced animation software, you’ll study character and graphic design, gestures, perspective and composition under industry experts.

The B.A. in Animation major provides students with an education in art, design, and technology to develop the basic skills needed to perform the standard phases of animation: conceptualization, modeling and construction, texturing, animation, digital cinematography, and post production. The program combines traditional and digital skills.
