BAA in Animation at Mount Ida College Massachusetts

The Animation programs at Sheridan are known the world over for the creative excellence of our graduates and faculty. The Bachelor of Applied Arts in Animation (BAAA) degree transforms the Animation – Classical diploma previously offered by Sheridan, and joins it with elements of the Computer Animation Graduate Certificate to provide you with an industry-ready skill set.

You will have the opportunity to work in both traditional and contemporary approaches to the discipline, including stop motion. In Year 3 students work in teams to produce a group project and in Year 4 students gain directorial and producing skills, and create a personal animated film of one minute in length as part of their senior project.
UNIQUE LEARNING EXPERIENCES

Work Term

A significant component of this degree program is a 14-week work term, offered between Years 3 and 4. The work term will give students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an environment related to their field of study. There is a $510 fee.
