You’ll also need to submit a portfolio of your work as part of your application.

Please note that if you’re applying to the five-year Combined-Degree Program or the Master of Art in Teaching in Art Education, you must apply to the Museum School and Tufts University simultaneously.

The Admissions Office is responsible for the recruitment of prospective students as well as the processing of all applications and documents that applicants submit for acceptance. Admissions counselors are available by appointment to meet with prospective students and their families to give assistance with the admissions process, answer any questions pertaining to the programs offered at CCM, and assist members of the community with pursing their goal of higher education.

How to Apply

Deciding where to apply may be tough, but the application process shouldn’t be. Once you’ve decided to apply to Simmons, we’d like to make applying go as smoothly as possible — and even free! Use the online Simmons application, and we’ll waive the $55 application fee. Learn about all the ways you can apply to Simmons.

Completed application for admission.
Nonrefundable application fee. $25 if submitted online; $50 if submitted in paper form.
Official transcript from last high school attended. General Equivalency Diploma is also acceptable. International transcripts must be in English or accompanied by a certified English translation.
Official report of SAT or ACT scores* including the writing section.

All applicants are now automatically reviewed for academic scholarship consideration based on completed application files. Scholarships also may be awarded to admitted students based on a combination of academic and artistic achievements.

Recommendations. Up to three recommendations may be submitted by teachers, counselors or community leaders who have had immediate contact with the applicant.
