Financial Aid Photography at Texas A&M University Commerce

The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships at Texas A&M University-Commerce is available to assist students with financial aid and scholarship questions. Although the primary responsibility for financing an education rests with the student and the student’s immediate family, it is recognized that many students will require additional assistance in order to finance their educational goals. Texas A&M University-Commerce offers need-based and nonneed-based financial assistance to those students who would otherwise not be able to attend the University.

We encourage you to view your billing statement or check the status of your refund check online after your award(s) has posted to your TAMU-C account. To do so, follow the instructions below.

After logging in to MyLEO click on the following links:Financial Aid, Student Records, then Account Summary by term. By reviewing your account summary, you will be able to determine if your grants, loans or scholarships have posted to your student account. Awards identified as ‘Estimated’ have not been applied to your account yet. Please continue to monitor your student account to ensure your awards are posted. Also, by reviewing your account summary, you will be able to determine if your refund check has been issued. If so contact the Loan Office.

To apply to the Department of Photography & Imaging, applicants must complete three components: the New York University common application, which is to be submitted to the admissions office, and a creative portfolio and questionnaire, both submitted directly to the Department of Photography & Imaging. Photography & Imaging Degree at New York University

The Photography & Imaging Labs are for the exclusive use of Photography & Imaging majors and students currently taking classes in the Photography & Imaging department. The Labs comprise 2 black and white gang darkrooms, 9 individual color darkrooms, 2 digital labs with a total of 14 work stations which feature a number of scanners and printers, and 2 shooting studios. There is also an equipment cage which houses a variety of cameras in formats from 35mm to 8×10 to DSLR, digital audio and video recorders, plus a substantial range of lighting equipment for use in the studio or on location.
